Self declarations

Stop hiding. Run up to it, believing that you will only rise and not falter.

Stop crying. Wipe those tears away believing that you are stronger than anyone else.

Stop standing here. Keep moving believing that your destination is still miles away.

Stop contemplating. Because there is more to life than it seems.

Ive been feeling small in the huge crowd that revolves around me, its so hard to shine, its so hard to live by the life i envision, because everything just moves too quickly.

Just to share what I heard few months ago.. A RP facilitator said quite a lot to me when I was ambitious and proud all those at point of time. (that's the attitude problem :D)

Of course, many people would think that being ambitious and want to shine isn't wrong. Furthermore while we are living in this kind of era. It's tempting to be in the centre of attraction and get all the fame but she thinks otherwise.

It will be a long story to elaborate what I was trying to do that time, but it may involve a sudden popularity in me, it's tempting.

But she said this to me, together with what is her dream...

speaking and not speaking all has its own benefits. so no regrets necessary really.
well, i seriously think, at the end of the day we should begin with our selves and reflect on ourselves.
want to contribute, you start by changing yourself to be giving.
dont always think to take or think will be disadvantaged or lose out.
think about others and the group before self.

over the past 3 yrs, i keep asking myself, can i survive in a developing country or not?
if i leave now, will i be able to stay alive.
in that foreign land when doing voluntary work or trying to be selfless.
each time, the answer that comes back to me is, no.

they more senior adults i meet always say it is too idealistic.
when i go to work each day, i think they are right.
but i wait for miracles to happen and i perserve and continue to meet like minded pple.
it is a gd feeling to continue to pay it forward.
it keeps me going

slow and steady some times may just win the race.
going too fast may have issues as well.

dont need to force too much, just try your best and keep a clear conscience

always remember, it doesnt always pay to be in the limelight

I paste all these text down at my lappy's screen, since around august. Untill recently, then I started to understand what she's trying to say, after re-reading it for many many times and observed my surroundings. Especially the last 3 sentences! hehe!

PS if I post something out of topic! often i have this problem, no link~

Hey, thanks for sharing!
Its really indepth thinking and i think your facilitator is so kind to have share all these philsophies with you.

Though i had to re-read your comment at least 3 times, i finally understand it all,
and you are right, it doesnt pay to be in the limelight.

Being where i am is enough.
