back from the chalet organised by crankynuts and my other nutty friends from my alma mater and those good ol' days.
really glad to see most of em' again, esp those whom are in 4B:] awesome.

anyway we had wild harvoc times, peaceful restful times, savouring yummy times, silly crappy times, catching up gossip times, barbequeing marinating times, cutting clearing up times, stoning drunken times , in fact everything, all in one, were what we did at aloha loyang garden terrace C :D whee and one of the happiest.

they were great planners, yeap namely ken, ck, gerald, de' chefs: bs and kl, game masters: yw and wb or everyone who have contributed, trying their best to pull everyone together though not of em' were keen in the games but alas, im sure we had fun at the grill or so i think. heh.

it was just too bad i didnt get to stay throughout the 2 nights, i went for the one fateful night only since i had my doc's appt the next day and i had to work on friday so yeah.

anyway we did certain crazy yet innovative things like:

thanks to these condiments and da chefs in the making that the marination was thumbs up! love the rosemaryyyy leaves:

and of course, how can a chalet do without drunkards? well well, more will be updated as soon as i got the MAIN pictures from bs's camera. for now, this ABSOLUT VODKA speaks a thousand words. 40% alcohol volume and 2 drunkards came to light. beat that yo.
hungovers.

and would cha look at this gorgeous thing! clem's amplifier is like a mini home theatre system with luminous light damn.
more to come and you will seeeeee.
a toast to the chalet!

woah i just realised how "routinable" my life is.
well, at least thats how my life is in the holidays. the dreadful hols sigh.

haha but somehow or rather, i have been keeping myself occupied with work and it isnt so bad!
in fact, im having a good time, just keeping the laughter going on among my colleagues and i get to spend some time with my family too, whether its just the weekends or dinner on a weekday or two.
but i still do miss my polymates. i wonder how are they getting along. sheesh! its like i hardly ever meet em' and even if we try to, either one of us have got something that we need to attend to.
gee, its really hard. gotta meet em up before the school term starts!
one thing i can be thankful of though, its that i still get to see some of them online and we do ask how each other has been:]

anyway, yeah so i have been working, slacking, eating, reading, socialising, dreading, whatever and more. chalet is coming up coming wed yay, cant wait for it since dearest cranky is organising it! and da barbeque toooo. it has been such a long time since i grill and i cant wait to start that fire again.
and yeah helping her with it but sorry dear, that i cant help much since im only going for the first night. im such a loserrrrr:/

so guys, please help ck out and not agonise her heh:D

oh ! and ive cut my hair! yesssss, that long hair of pearlyn khoo's is gone! gone like the wind. okay maybe not like the wind, but literally chopped off by the salon hairdresser and scattered all over on the floor like a bunch of moss. even the hairdresser was laughing at how much hair ive got. haha.
so well well. now ive only half of my hair left on my scalp but im not really complaining bout it since i wanted it that way, at least i can feel wind around my neck now and my head has never felt this light so yay me?

will post a pic of my new hairdo in da next post!
i shall catch some sleep now since im working opening with junnal tmr. 0700, argh.

HAPPY MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL peeps:]
didnt really had a celebration but it still had that little tradition of lighting up lanterns, moon gazing, sipping chinese tea and sampling mooncakes.

worked this morning and it was pretty quiet, esp in da morning. customers just come occasionally for lattes and drinks and the sandwiches weren't moving at all. oh well, crapped ard with lin and talked alot bout going on shopping trips overseas and more. thanks for the gobstoppers lin! love those candies and thanks a mil for da' cookies. had guitar lessons later on and yeah man, learnt some new chords yet again:D

anyway yeah , mum lighted up mine and sis's ol' childhood lanterns that we once got em' just to get a little into the festive mood. after all, its lantern festival!
i think mum bought these lanterns for us when we were in pre school. mine was hello kitty then and sis's one was doraemon heh.
and will you look at that! yeap the bright full moon amongst the misty clouds! i thought i would never be able to see the moon since it just drizzled and all, but nah, spotted it eventually .
mum and sis and yeap with those lanterns :

mum and me! okay i just bathed and was totally shagged.

dad brewed tea:
and we had walnut moontarts cum mooncakes and some nuts to go along:]
and yes, that was our lil' mooncake celebration.
happy mooncake again !
work at harbourfront's spinelli tmr. argh bless me.

alright , back to blog.
the hols have been well.. pretty much of a drag actually. its so routine based.
there is time to rest, slack and do your own stuff but when all these things actually come with time, it clashes with work, laziness and everything else that comes along with it.
its irritating yeah i know.

but well, have not worked 3 to 4 days in a week for such a damn long time ! since hectic school starts.
and getting back in touch with work actually felt freaking awesome.
its the thrill of lunch and peak periods where we have to rush out drinks, coffee and whatever.
its the laughter , chit chatter and endless gossips between us colleagues that kept us going.
its the "faster finish" kinda spirit that made us want to perserve on.
and of course its the company as well! haha i have more company now ever since mimi joined csc spinelli's. now there are more coming! yay more trainees, more life, more companions! :]

well and because my hols have been rather routine based, nothing new crops up so not much to blog about as well. just that i missed my friends! yeah i truly do, cross my heart.

i miss fennie and her girlish squeaks heh, shall go out and get jellybeans soon okay?
i miss elaine, chris, sujun, and the rest of da clique. their laughters, their squeals, their juicy gossips. eh hah!
i miss siti, fathin and fify! lets head on to geylang serai soon and rmb to invite us for hari raya yo.
i miss ck! lets go shopping soon and i know, lots of discussion to do too :D
i miss weebee. lets get bikes and ipods and explore places with me soonnnnnn.

i anticipate for outings and dates with friends , yeah seriously.
and i cant wait to cook dinner for family tmr! its gonna be fun after not trying a hand in cooking for so long. at least mum will be there to help:] whee! spaghetti aglio olio on the menu.
i have been so deprived of it for way too long.

and gosh i cant believe the fact that i consumed 12slices of white bread on monday:]
yay yay i like those kind of carbs.

cheerios and a toast to bran flakes!

saturday's takeout:
I FINALLY GOT ONTO THE SINGAPORE FLYER!
yes, the world's tallest observation wheel at 165m:] and the views are simply stunning.

this is right at the peak and because me and my family chose the 7pm timing slot, we can actually witness the transition change of day to night. the sky darkens, the sun sets down, and buildings started lighting up. a.m.a.z.i.n.g.
there is the announcement that we are right at the peak!
looking down:
yeap shots of us in our capsule! the tourguide was really really longwinded but he was still good though, explaining every single little detail of attractions around singapore.
jo and muaaa:D
jo, mummy and muaaa:DD
inside the capsule! and yeap we are mixed with other peeps as well.
thats good ol' daddy.
before the sky darkens.
and there is the marina barrack thing where it actually holds the water from flooding in ehh whether you can see it here in this pic or not. heh.
the capsule lightens up!
entering the flyer's capsule as we board:

while we waited to board:

and gosh, there is actually security checks too! oh man, looks like having the WORLD's TALLEST observation wheel can be quite in danger of terrorist attacks too eh.
and the singapore flyer's "mall":

i had so much fun and the time spent there was so worth the moneyyy. well, i dont know if it applies to my mum and dad who paid for the trio cause i had it complimentary since i was born in august. i hoped they had fun too!
thanks once again to my beloved family who witnessed and experienced this wonderous flyer. Being seemingly patriotic, i would declare: well done singapore for constructing this up!
geeee that was cheesy:]
oh well, for now. so long!
