so on saturday afternoon, we went for mum's bday celebratory lunch at mariners' corner western restaurant! mum and dad here:
the dessert which i didnt finished! i seriously think i ate like quite alot on sat, from sis's SC CARNIVAL to lunch. damn bloated after that haha. but the food was perfect. had salmon steak! and i cant believe sis, mum and dad actually ate that RAW FRESH SCALLOPS. okay it tasted raw though and sis almost barfed at them heh.
and loookkk at my beautifully drawn LEO henna by an sc girl!
and aww my cousins' hamsters! Saturday was fully packed, was out almost the whole day since morning! In the evening, we headed to cousin's birthday partaeeee at yewtee.

and SC 's amphitheatre! looking back at all these is rather nostalgic. spent 6 years in SC, duh i really missed some of those GOOD times and yeah only the good ones remembered . eh hah.

i dearly missed the times i sat down there with my closest friends eating junk food and talking non stop bout some kiddish stuff. sigh.

i really did have fun at SC's carnival though it was a lil' boring but hell yeah, i enjoyed myself thoroughly , just wandering ard the school, having sis guiding me ard, eating glorious food, meeting up with rachel and friends and moreeeee.

and a BIG thank you to fen who accompanied me to plaza sing's yamaha to register for their guitar lessons. though im still on the supposedly waiting cum reservation list for classes resuming in May. The intake is still way too little and oh come on, why must the lessons be on a sundayyyy? argh, i seriously need it on a weekday if not , sigh oh well .

OOH and i got a bouquet of fake roses haha , for my mum's bday pre bday gift! i actually think that fake roses are better since its lasting and pretty while the real ones wither. there is more to come after i get my pay! that will be a mother day's gift too then:]
its my first attempt on wrapping the bouquet myself , it turned out hmm quite alright so i suppose its a pass:
i hope she likes it! yes she musttttt.

and mum got me these FROZZ mints with a new flavour! lime! and i finally bought the guitar picks at yamaha's: its so nicely coloured .
cant wait for tomorrow, it will be a good saturday i guess! going to SCGS's CARNIVAL with sis , then mum's advanced bday lunch and in the evening it will be cousin's bday partaeee:D

am so relieved its a thursday night which means tomorrow is friday which also means the end of the week:D
though its gonna be a dread embracing a new week later on but at least the weekends are here!

School has been hmmm well okay, and surprisingly manageable with no heavy workload and bad time management. so, phew.
there are a number of new modules and some of em' are pretty interesting like Environment Design, Space Curatorship, Intro to Entrepeunership which is a lecture and as usual, the many many project studio lessons conducted by Sean and Larry. and yes, its Sean Limpiaw again , but he has been in a good mood so far, with a better sense of humor than the previous year. and he seems really enthusiastic about bonding our class together. its so not him , but i guess all of us like the better Sean now. i think:P

and im proud to say that our cityhall trail investigation presentation was pretty much a success with good comments and all. and im sure our year1 group freshies will do just as well!
went for the CCA CLUB CRAWL this afternoon too! during the time given to us by Zalina heh.
its like so happening there, and everything comes to life as compared to blk R haha.
Watched the Foreign Bodies perform and they're amazing luh, love their hiphop grooves so so much. and their way of dancing while tossing a bottle of coke.

And i signed my name on for nyp athletics , track and field like yay together with fathin! double yay:] now i have company.
and elaine seemingly persuaded me to sign my name on for Sound Card too, goodness me, i cant believe i did that. christina joined in too!
its a new club with all the singing of the latest pop hits . and there are auditions for it ah!
Well, we shall see then.

First day of dreadful school today. Finally, back at SDN, though its a different block, much newer and really spacious, but nostalgia remains.
well, glad to see my wonderful classmates again and other year2 frenssies as well.
new yet familiar faces of the freshmen were plastered everywhere at level 5 this afternoon too.
Their faces really do remind me of the time i was a freshman myself, that was like one year ago.
anticipation, lost, conserved, yet excited, cheery , welcomed, and totally new.

Anyway, was late for project studio class heh, which was combined with the year 1s surprisingly, and all the SID lecturers were there to brief us on a new project, and yes im not kidding, the first day of school and there is a NEW PROJECT! lucky it isnt so major or anything since its gonna be a group effort together with the freshies. im pleased with my grp, consisting of Siti, Rayne , the freshies: Zurah, small siti and Ryah! yay me, i remembered their names:]
And we had to take this trail at the cityhall area , which was actually marked with an intersecting red line on a map given to us.

So since the year 2s were free , we went down to the site and captured many snapshots of the area observed so on and so forth. the freshies would be snapping tmr, so we shall see then!
After all the snapping, we girls went to bugis and just wandered around. It had been such a long time since our class went out together ! fen had to go for violins though:/ that poor girl. its okay girlfriend, there are many more chances for our class to hang ard.
Bought this really truly ubber cute ELMOOOO accessory from action city. fathin and ct got one each too! Bert and Cookie Monster. haha i love sesame street characters. aren't they the cutest!

yet another grossly slimy tasteless white flakes when added with hot water that looks like vomit to well, certain people. But hey, you are missing out on good stuff that can make you full whenever you are hungry . and not mentioning its nutrients behind these!

i just got so inspired by Peilin's blog post about her admiration and inspiration from her circle of friends and leaders, who are such great positive influences in her life that really instilled in her a soaring spirit to go on greater heights.
And her blog posts never cease to amaze me.
i guess i dont really reflect on myself nor life so much then.

Sometimes, its strange that we dont notice the people around us, the principles we are living by each day and how such people can affect us in one way or another. They can be such determined people who believe in their own rights, leading us to achieve and become one of them as well , yet, they can be low spirited people who doesnt bother about how they live their life each day .
There are also some who follow their daily same old routine and those who are down to earth and live life humbly. Wierd much eh.

I wonder how influential i can be to those around me.
But definitely, im relieved and am so glad, that God has given me the greatest gift of having friends and family who care so much for me and am such lovely influences to every dash and sprinkle of my not-so-perfect life. That includes the blog posts im reading from Peilin's!
