i just realised that there are really wierd road names in singapore.
yeah, seriously, there are BURY ROAD, KAYPOH ROAD, ROYAL ROAD and more.
goodness gracious, bury road sounded really tragic like there are dead corpses buried within that area. and kaypoh road sounded like its solely for people who poke their noses into every affair.

hey world, embrace me as im back and yes, still surviving.
so oookkkayyy, i have not been updating for a well, pretty long time. haha it took forever for me to blog luh. i dont know why, but on one hand, im lazy. on the other, i want to but i cant seem to find the time to.
anyway school has been a wreck with the furniture design going on and stuff, which we, referring to our class were unwilling to join but had to. gosh, lots of model making of the furniture, sketching, critiques, even the process of coming and staying at school for long hours were ALL underwent. argh torturous.
but alas! it would all soon be over i hope, after RE-DOING and RE-PRINTING our presentation boards next week. damn, just wasted money on printing again.
on a happier note, i had to recollect this wonderful day though it gave me quite a bad scare. I GOT PUNKED, literally but in a good way. yeap my supposedly big day, turning a wholesome 18 wasn't really a grand affair , in fact, i felt so old that i cant believe im maturing so fast eh.
anyway, all appreciative thanks to my oh-so-gracious class of mine for giving me such a lovely birthday surprise! not forgetting ROS too, for that yummy freshly baked muffins you got us.
okay so the surprise was carried out when i just stepped into level 5 of design block. fen and mimi told me class was cancelled and i actually fell for it like totally, the class was empty and everyone was missing. and fen said that everyone went home after learning that class was cancelled since we went to school at a later timing, we knew bout it later.
and then they gave me a REALLY REALLY bad heartwrenching message that sean and larry wanted to see me cause something cropped up with my studio project and i had to redo my model by that fateful day.
i was like: WHATTTTT!? and i.almost.broke.down. okay but i didnt.
after that, we went to level 6 to check things out, fen and mimi's acting were so convincing that i didnt suspect a thing okay. and then ROS appeared and told me to see her in her room later for studio and i freaked out. real bad, thinking that horrible 15th august must be one of the worst days of the days i had lived.
we then proceeded to the lift lobby since ROS said that sean and larry was last seen there. i went out and saw a bunch of familiar people standing at the corner. and AHHH yes, it was my bunch of girlfriends holding on to cakes with a candle, a gorgeous sunflower and a box of muffins singing de' birthday song.
I GOT SO STUNNED i almost cried haha. i was totally embarrased after that luh, believing bout the studio thing that never happened. GEE! punked , surprised and touched by what SID had done for me! thanks yo girlfriends and ROS too for that really convincing act heh.
and yeap presenting , the gorgeous sunflower! thanks fen for remembering:]

and not forgetting this gift which i had just recently gotten from juleen and florence! thanks for remembering and yeah i will so wear this on our next date!
oh and on a random note, we did video footages on the VI group project on the 15th as well. thats sean and larry, one at each end:/

gee back with some updates:
went for sp's symphonic band concert this evening with juleen and florence right after my guitar lessons. and yeah i literally rushed there but made it in time before the intermission phew.
meiping was performing and the junior band was like almost flawless!
and when the senior band joined in, the band completely held me in awe.
seriously, they were darn good. their sound is really round, rich and so full of magnifience, you will be swept away by captivation.
and recently, i dont know whats wrong with me but i seem to have a fetish for reading comic books. perhaps, its a form of relieving myself from the truckload of work or maybe its just a recollection of the past where i just used to curl up in some corner, furiously glancing thru' calvin and hobbes comic collections eh hah. anyway, noticed this series of comics at the national lib just now: the graphics are creative, weebee! u shld totally grab this!
AND YES, me and wb went to the NIGHT FESTIVAL on friday night ! woohoo though there werent much, the ambience and happening night life kept us in good spirits:] siti, fify ,syaiful and fathin were there too though i didnt meet em' whoops.

eh heh i just realised i havent been updating for like a hundered dead years.
so here i am with that little amount of photos i have or rather , that ive taken in my low memoryspace phone:
had been spending lots of time recently on projects and with weebee:]
it felt so good to actually look foward to something not so school-like after lessons.
we went to SHOKUDO, newly opened jap coffee house i guess at bugis last sat after work.
and boy, the desserts were heaven sent!
love the interior:
and our shared dessert! green tea slush ice with jap red beans that you will never get sick of. oh with a few mochis at the side too.
there is weebee full of contemplation:
and yeap at gwc spinelli's last week as well with the bagel she loved:]
ohh and did i mentioned about how beautiful sentosa is on a late evening! long taken 2 weeks ago, went to sentosa to meet up with xueting and all.
and me and fen here with our hoodies! hoodies are probably one of the most commonly wore now here in the design block where every studio is a human -made freezerrrr.
the best time to really get that warmth is sweating it out at the track during trainings:D

during zalina's class which was Environment Design , we had an excursion to:
yeap the Peranakan museum at Armenian Street! and its a really nice place with its rich cultural heritage of the perankans and all! i didnt know Dick Lee was a Peranakan! ehh peranakans really reminded me of the late olden school days of SCGS.
like finally! i took pics with my new phone , the quality being unexpectedly not bad:] these are my girls with the cookies i got em'. hope you girls liked it , with wholesome love.

and we headed on to Cafe Momentum, which was just located beside the museum while waiting for the bus to arrive! big loving thanks to Zalina who treated us drinks at this cafe! your kindness is truly appreciated by each and every one of us here :D
and i simply love the cafeeee, look at its wide variety of designed aesthetically clocks on display!
they even had coms for usage!
a definitely pleasant place to just chill, surf the net and have coffee! we drew these:
