Helo To Melaka.

Firstly, im pleased to say that i actually kept a travel journal to record down the slightly more happening details of the trip. Actually nothing much happened luh just the same stuff but am glad to see Grandmere and Mum enjoying themselves.
That was the whole purpose after all!
Everything in Melaka was still freshly familiar , since i just went there with my classmates bout half a year ago. So yeah, this is how it goes.

Day One, 11th Oct.
Purpose of visit: Spend time with grandmere's relatives and just a short getaway @ 0835 , we headed off in the coach, love the fact that it was a double decker and that im sitting alone. F.Y.I, im not being emo.
Sitting by the window, face basking in the sun, pluggin' in to the ipod, deep contemplation, its the start of a retreat.

@0900 was breathless watching 'Drag Me To Hell' on the TV in the coach. Horrifying Disturbing movie that still kept me seemingly engrossed in it.

@1100 Rest stop, Yong Peng.
Toilet, i need to pee.
Cupcorn and Tea Egg as a snack.

@ 1510 Hotel Equatorial, Melaka Room 810
Arrived destination.

Facing a pretty scenic view from up here in our room, we've a small balcony overlooking the heart of Melaka. Because we are located at the central, its highly accessible!
Grandmere's relatives gonna pick us up in an hour's time.

Grand aunt and Grandmere hugging tight.

@ 2155 Back to the hotel
After a relatively long day out hanging out at Jonker Street with Grandmere's relatives, we're back, tired and sweaty. Grandaunt's grandson drove us to a Portugese Restaurant for an early dinner. Had some recommended dishes which were spicy , loved the Assam Fish and Kangkong!
It was appetitising in a way or so. Grandaunt's family was very very hospitable. They brought us ard to visit 2 of their houses and then we went on to Jonker walk. Managed to catch a glimpse of all the excitement and nightlife.
That's it for Day 1 then, gotta recharge.

Day Two, 12th Oct.
@0750 Hotel Room
Preparing ourselves to head downstairs for the buffet breakfast provided, yum.
@0850 back in room
Breakfast was awesome, love the cereals, there are so many varieties! We had all-american with eggs, pastries etc, and chinese congee. Am glad Grandmere loves it!

@1545 Back to room after a long day
After breakfast, we had a guided tour to bring us to Tan Kim Hock for some local produce shopping. Thereafter we went to the Peranakan Museum, yes, again, it was my 2nd time there but at least i could relate it to my grandmere. Afterwards, our tour guide cum driver brought us to a homemade Nyonya Kueh house. Was quite fascinated with what i saw! A few ahmas with their filipino maids i supposed, using their hands to make each and every one of the kuehs.
Treated both grandmere and mum for lunch at a Chicken Rice Balls store along Jonker.
The chicken rice came in cute little rice balls, almost bite size.
Came back with a few shopping done. However, was only disappointed i haven't managed to find a guitar shop in the area. Darn.
Anyway , got back from a swim in the hotel with Mum and we are gonna head out to find "City Music" .
Im determined to get a Ac guitar luh!

@ 1750 back again
OMG YAY YAY, i finally got my much desired Ac guitar!
12 RM wasnt wasted on the cab fare. Thanks to mum for accompanying me:D
I got the guitar at such a good deal, it was a total steal.
anyway we are looking foward for a Peranakan dinner feast provided in the hotel later.

@ 2159 hotel room
Shopping done, Peranakan feast was fab
Seri Nyonya provided an array of peranakan dishes like the all famous Ayam Pongteh, Assam Fish, Belachan chilli, Nyonya chap chye and i finally tried the chendol!
that wraps it all up for Day 2.
------------------------------------------------------
Day Three , 13th oct and our last day.
Relatives brought us for Bak Ku Teh for brunch.
Soup was tantalising but still i cant appreciate Bak Ku Teh .

---------------------------------------------------------

Well, and that was all for our 3 days in Melaka. I still had other photos of places we have visited but im lazy to post em all up ald. So here we go, it was an eye opener for them i hoped!

P/S: I think my photography did improved. Cam not wasted. Yay me, or not?
